Prussia Münster is strengthening: Marvin Schulz from Kiel is coming!

The transfer market is currently simmering, and June 20, 2025 will also bring exciting changes. In the regional league, the fans of Preußen Münster can breathe a sigh of relief: They have signed Marvin Schulz (30) from Bundesliga relegated Holstein Kiel. Schulz, a homegrown player from Borussia Mönchengladbach, has already played 12 first division and 53 second division games since 2022 and has impressively demonstrated his skills over the years after making his professional debut in 2015. This new signing could provide new impetus for the team, as Schulz not only brings experience but also a breath of fresh air into the offensive.

Meanwhile, Thorben Deters (29) is leaving SC Preußen Münster to return to SV Meppen in the Regionalliga Nord. Deters' contract was terminated early after he only made seven short appearances last season and had to take a break following shoulder surgery. A fresh start for the talented player could perhaps give him the boost he needs.

Movement at other clubs

However, the transfer activities are not limited to Münster. Viktoria Köln signed striker David Otto (26) from SV Sandhausen on June 19th. A lot is also happening at FC Schalke 04: Soufiane El-Faouzi (22) is moving from Alemannia Aachen to the Knappen and has signed a contract until 2029. In the last third division season he played an impressive 36 games, scored three goals and prepared seven - a player who has the potential to strengthen Schalke.

On the same day, Paul Seguin (30) leaves Schalke and joins Hertha BSC. Seguin played 26 competitive games for Schalke last season, scoring two goals and assisting five. By moving to Hertha, he could look for a new challenge and further advance his career.

Talented newcomers and departures

Fans can look forward to further transfers in the Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund II has signed Joseph Boyamba from Rot-Weiss Essen, Marcel Johnen from Alemannia Aachen and Yilmaz Aktas. There are also six U19 players who will support the U23s. These measures show that the clubs are on a path to rejuvenation and want to strengthen young talent.

There are also important personnel changes in other teams: Tim Handwerker is moving to Arminia Bielefeld on a free transfer, and Merveille Biankadi is leaving Arminia because his contract will not be extended. It will be exciting to see how these changes will impact the coming seasons.

The transfers are far from complete and it is to be expected that the clubs will remain active in order to optimally prepare themselves for the challenges of the new season. All eyes are on the transfer market – something is happening!
