St. Martin's Day parades in Cologne 2025: Light and joy for our children!
In November 2025, Cologne will be transformed into a glowing sea of lanterns. Thousands of children will traditionally march through the streets to celebrate St. Martin's Day, which falls on November 11th this year. The events pay tribute to a man who stands for charity and compassion even 1,600 years after his death. The first St. Martin's Day parade will take place on KGS Mainzer Straße in Neustadt-Süd on Monday, November 3rd. On Friday, November 7th, several highlights await the people of Cologne. There will be a St. Martin's Day celebration and a subsequent procession at Cologne Cathedral, while the 1. FC Cologne celebration starts with a procession at the RheinEnergieStadion. Dinger’s Garden Center in Ossendorf/Bocklemünd also invites you to a St. Martin’s Day parade at 5:30 p.m.
