Drug raid in the kiosk: 28-year-old arrested and kiosk closed!

On Monday, August 11th, the police in Cologne turned a kiosk in the “Im Ferkulum” area upside down. The 28-year-old operator of the kiosk was temporarily arrested and immediately brought before a judge.

The police investigation began the previous week when civilian officers observed suspicious activity in a kiosk on Severinstrasse. Based on these clues, suspicion shifted to the “Im Ferkulum” kiosk. With a court-ordered search, investigators finally gained access to the premises, where they were able to seize the drugs and cash. The second kiosk operator, a 22-year-old, is also suspected of being involved in the criminal activities.

Kiosk closed and locked

After the successful operation, the public order office closed and sealed the kiosk for the time being.
