A lot is happening in Cologne Kalk: A new residential and office district is on the agenda! The ambitious planning, which is intended to take the existing Cologne arcades into account, is entering the next round. Markus Greitemann, the head of the building department, announced that three of the original four participating offices would remain in the race, while Bläser Jansen Partner from Dortmund with their “Strong Gassen” concept had dropped out of the competition. Balanced planning for the district
The new district should not only offer living space. Around 108 apartments, both privately financed and publicly funded, will be built, supplemented by 56 senior apartments.
