Tennis fever in Wiehltal: 14 teams fight for the ascent!

In the Cologne tennis landscape, something exciting is happening! The TC Wiehltal proudly presents its 14 newly registered teams, including three promising young teams, which will be proven in the upcoming medium of summer. The location looks more mixed for women. The women's team of the 2nd district league has to fight with difficulties after the promotion ceremony. They are still there without the decisive victory and lost to Pohlhausen (4: 5), Menden (3: 6) and TuS Birk (4: 5). In the meantime, the 1st women 50 in the 2nd district league show a solid performance with two victories against Rheidt (6: 3) and BW Wahlscheid (5: 4), as well as only a narrow defeat against Gut Bushhof, which means that they are in second place.

The 2nd women 50 team meanwhile has had a hard time. They are at the end of the table after they have lost both against Forsbach and Refrath-Frankenforst and Pohlhausen. In the junior class, the junior team fights in the 2nd district league after being lost against Waldbröl (0: 6) and achieving a tie against GW Bergisch-Gladbach (3: 3).
