Something exciting is happening in the Cologne tennis landscape! The TC Wiehltal proudly presents its 14 newly registered teams, including three promising young teams that will prove themselves in the upcoming Meden summer round. Eric Schneider, the club's sports director, is optimistic about the club's developments and the challenges ahead.

The men's team in particular can look forward to the next encounter against SW Troisdorf, as they have already been promoted to the 2nd district league. A reason to be happy that promises the team fresh motivation for the last match. The 2nd men in the 3rd district league also have good chances of promotion with a current second place in the table and were able to get into position with impressive victories against RW Wipperfürth (6:0), TV Gelpetal (5:1) and GW Bergisch Gladbach (5:1). However, there was also a defeat against TC Wiehl (2:4), which should not be banished from the players' minds.

The other teams in view

But it's not just the men who are active. The men's 60 team in the Middle Rhine League had a difficult start. After a narrow win against BW Stommeln (5:4), three defeats followed against PFS Düren (0:9), BW Aachen (0:9) and BW Köln (3:6). The men 55 have a similarly difficult time in the 2nd association league, struggling at the bottom of the table with 0:6 points. Damen 50 show a solid performance in the 2nd district league with two wins against Rheidt (6:3) and BW Wahlscheid (5:4), as well as only a narrow defeat against Gut Buschhof, which puts them in second place.

Meanwhile, the 2nd women's 50 team has had a tough time. They are at the bottom of the table after losing to Forsbach as well as Refrath-Frankenforst and Pohlhausen. In the junior class, the junior team is fighting in the 2nd district league after losing against Waldbröl (0:6) and achieving a draw against GW Bergisch-Gladbach (3:3).
