An incident occurred in the Durlach district of Karlsruhe on Saturday afternoon that sent both police officers and a 48-year-old woman into a dramatic state of emergency. Loud Tixio The woman was heavily drunk and in a psychological state of emergency when she attacked and injured two officers in the emergency room of a hospital. The incident occurred around 5:20 p.m. after the woman had previously threatened to harm herself with a sharp object.
Emergency services were called to take the 48-year-old to hospital, where she refused to seek treatment. Instead, she kicked the police officers who were called several times. A police officer was seriously injured and had to stop his duties. The woman is now facing charges of resisting law enforcement officers.
An example of exceptional psychological situations
Another incident that took place on the same afternoon in another region illustrates how often similar situations occur. In Schönhagen the police were called because a man was hitting cars with an object. In a psychological state of emergency, the 56-year-old tried to escape arrest with aggressive behavior. Luckily there were no injuries here.
