Viktoria was able to score a goal through one of the penalties, but they fell behind again shortly after the break when Rostock scored again in the 50th and 55th minutes. “It’s difficult to win a game when you concede four goals,” Wilhelm continued. He particularly criticized the defense sharply because the team did not act well in these situations. Viktoria Köln currently has a record of five wins, two draws and five defeats and is in the middle of the 3rd league table.
Looking ahead: The next duel is coming up
The next important game for Cologne is on Friday at 7 p.m. - the duel against FC Ingolstadt, the last meeting ended 4:4 in the Sportpark Höhenberg. “We have to learn from our mistakes and maintain our fighting spirit,” demanded player David Otto after the defeat. The current situation makes it clear that the team still has to learn the hard way, but the approaches are promising.
The league’s statistics are currently exciting. A look at the current table shows that Hansa Rostock is in 12th place with around 1.42 points per game, while Viktoria Cologne is eagerly hoping for an improvement in performance.
