An unforgettable final: Rhenish championships inspire!

Last Sunday an exciting event was celebrated at the Rhineland Equestrian Sports Center in Langenfeld: “Fortuna Cologne meets equestrian sports”. Organized by Fortuna Cologne in cooperation with FEHN Legal and the Rhineland Equestrian Sports Association (PSVR), the daily program was dedicated to the final tests in dressage and jumping. Nationally and internationally known riders showed off their skills in front of an enthusiastic audience who eagerly waited for the championship titles to be awarded. The big highlight of the event was the celebratory championship ceremony, which received a special touch with the traditional championship christening in the moat, as Fortuna Cologne reports.

The best riders from the Rhenish regional association were represented with their ponies and horses at the Rhenish Championships, which took place from June 26th to 29th. Medals in gold, silver and bronze were awarded in different age groups: from children and pony riders to juniors and seniors. An additional highlight this year was the determination of the Rhenish young champions. The program on the final day was particularly diverse and offered the spectators impressive results as well as the dazzling championship ceremony. Insights into the organization

A close network and excellent collaboration were crucial to the success of this event. Dr. Karsten Fehn, who was brought in for the event by FEHN Legal, spoke about his company's role as an advisor in sports law and as a source of inspiration. The PSVR offered its partners an exclusive tour of the course and stables, which made the day even more exciting for everyone involved. The State Chancellery of North Rhine-Westphalia, represented in particular by Susanne Brandenburg in the area of ​​sports and volunteer work, also actively supported the project.

Oliver Kolmann, Peter Lautz, Hans-Willi Weber and Heidi van Thiel from PSVR were also there to accompany the event and to recognize all the volunteers who contributed to this unforgettable day.

Looking into the future

The success of the Rhenish Championships encourages the organizers to make new plans. Future projects are already in prospect, with Niklas Müller from Fortuna Köln and Heidi van Thiel from PSVR working together on further events. Such an impression of community and passion for equestrian sports was also noticeable among the spectators and all participants.

Both riders and spectators can look forward to the next championships, which will continue to take place in the Rhineland Equestrian Sports Center. The enthusiasm for equestrian sports remains unbroken. What happens next here clearly remains to be seen – exciting days lie ahead!
