Open air summer stage paused on June 8th, 2025. Tribute band OPIUM Fürs VOLK recently rocked the Eifgen house. Double Day festival follows.
Open Air SUMMERSTAGE paused: Emotional tribute show at Haus Eifgen!
On the second weekend in June, Haus Eifgen in Wermelskirchen will remain temporarily silent because the Open Air SUMMER STAGE 2025 is taking a short break. This retreat will allow the venue to make new plans and better organize upcoming events. However, things will be particularly exciting with the “Double Day Festival”, which will take place on June 20th and 21st. Here bands like the DOM MARTIN TRIO, BLUE DEAL and the ANDREAS DIEHLMANN BAND will ensure a rousing celebration. The festival ticket for both days only costs EUR 32 in advance, and individual tickets are also available, although at a higher price. Visitors can expect more information about the artists performing next week.
Yesterday, however, the tribute band OPIUM FORS VOLK rocked the stage in Haus Eifgen, which had to be moved inside due to the bad weather conditions. With an impressive 140-minute performance, they once again proved that they are one of the best tribute bands in Germany. Anyone who loves the Toten Hosen definitely got their money's worth here.
Versatile concert series
The OPIUM FORS VOLK concert series also looks promising in the coming months. They will perform on Friday, June 27th at the Waldschwimmbad Open Air in Bürstadt and continue their tour through various cities. Other stations include:

- 1. August: 7er Sommerbühne, Mannheim
- 16. August: Headliner Heartbeat Festival, Meinbrexen
- 22. August: Pitcher 29, Düsseldorf
- 5. September: Kulttempel, Oberhausen
- 6. September: Rock bei Kurt, Melle
- 27. September: Open Arnsberg, Arnsberg
The list continues into December, with the band playing several concerts both across Germany and in Switzerland. The entire tour is an invitation to all rock lovers to enjoy the rousing sounds.
Summer events in Bremen
Another highlight takes place in Bremen in summer. The Bremen floating stage will present numerous artists and events between June 30th and July 23rd. From family theater to classical music to electro sounds from SCHILLER, there is something for every taste. Comedy fans will also get their money's worth, for example with Bernd Stelter and his program "Hurray from Monday it's the weekend again!". Ticket sales are already underway and there is even a 10% discount on tickets until the end of October.
Whether in Wermelskirchen or Bremen – the coming weeks offer a wide range of cultural events. There is something for everyone! Maybe one or the other will discover the next big event for themselves!
