In the charming castle park of Bedburg, the club restaurant of the Rot-Weiss tennis club has attracted attention with a fresh concept. Under the management of Estefania Bouzas Lopez and Ruggiero Rollo, the restaurant “Tapitas” was opened, which is entirely dedicated to Spanish cuisine. The focus is on delicious tapas, complemented by a varied menu that offers weekly changing dishes. The heart of the kitchen beats in the hands of Estefania Bouzas Lopez, who, despite a lot of experience in gastronomy, is now running her own kitchen for the first time. At her side is Ruggiero Rollo, who not only shows a good hand as a full-time employee at the parks department, but also, as a trained butcher, has rebuilt the counter for the new concept. So it fits perfectly with the culinary requirements of “Tapitas”. What is particularly exciting is that the two not only want to welcome club members, but also want to address external guests.

Welcoming atmosphere and delicious food

The dishes at “Tapitas” are not only diverse, but also offer an insight into authentic Spanish cuisine. “The carefully prepared tapas are the star of our menu,” explains Bouzas Lopez. Not only traditional delicacies are on the table, but also modern interpretations, similar to those you might find in other cities such as Berlin, where tapas and Spanish gastronomy are very important. The selection ranges from hearty meat and fish dishes to vegan options that invite you to enjoy a convivial atmosphere of sharing and enjoyment. Premises and opening times

“Tapitas” not only invites its guests to dine, but also offers the opportunity to host celebrations in the restaurant. The cozy taproom can accommodate up to 60 people and is ideal for social gatherings. The restaurant is open daily from 5:30 p.m., the door is only closed on Mondays. For fans of fresh air, there is also a spacious terrace that is directly adjacent to the tennis courts and invites you to spend relaxing evenings.

The address of the new gourmet destination in Bedburg is Bergheimer Straße 20, in the picturesque castle park. The redesign of the restaurant was not only due to the departure of predecessor Manuele Marangio, who gave up the business after 15 years for health reasons, but also to bring a breath of fresh air into the gastronomy industry. “We look forward to delighting guests with a new concept and delicious Spanish cuisine!” says Rollo.
