Cologne celebrates: wine festival, district festivals and art in October!

An exciting weekend is just around the corner in Cologne! From October 10th to 12th, 2025, people will celebrate, feast and enjoy in the Rhine metropolis at a variety of events and festivals. The city shows itself at its best and there is something to discover for every taste.

A highlight is the **Wine Market on the Neumarkt**, which is taking place for the second time this year. Until October 19th, wine lovers can immerse themselves in the world of wine in this charming place. Admission is free and opening times are Monday to Friday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Here you can not only enjoy a wonderful selection of wines from various German wine regions, but also try the delicious tarte flambée and grilled specialties, which provide the necessary refreshment. There are enough seats to take a break and watch the hustle and bustle. The whole thing is rounded off by events as part of the Wine Festivals in Cologne, which attract thousands of visitors every year.

Film Festival Cologne and district festivals

Another great event is the **Film Festival Cologne**, which takes place from October 9th to 16th. Film lovers can look forward to a varied program that includes both documentaries and feature films from all over the world.
