On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the first Rainbow Festival will celebrate its premiere at the picturesque Fühlinger Lake in Cologne. The motto “Music connects” promises an unforgettable festival full of diversity and good humor. In cooperation with Cologne Pride, a colorful mix of over 20 live acts will be offered, which will ensure a real party atmosphere on two large stages.
The organizers are expecting up to 30,000 guests who can look forward to a thoroughly musical experience. Admission opens at 12 p.m., while the festival officially starts at 1 p.m. and ends around 11 p.m. Visitors can look forward to a diverse music program, ranging from pop to EDM to Cologne music.
Diverse line-up on two stages
Numerous well-known acts are expected on the Sunshine Stage. The line-up promises highlights such as Loreen, the 2023 ESC winner, and the cult band No Angels, who will delight the masses. Other artists include the Village People, Zoe Wees and the Cologne bands Brings and Cat Ballou. Mia Julia and the Vengaboys are also there – a real feast for the ears!
The Aqua Stage, on the other hand, is played by talented DJs such as Alle Farben, Felix Jaehn and Getreibt aber Geil. With their beats, the masterminds of this stage guarantee an exhilarating experience that lasts until the late hours. The festival is hosted by famous drag queen icon Olivia Jones, who is sure to keep spirits high.
Ticket information and arrival
Access to the Rainbow Festival is permitted from the age of 16 and regular tickets cost 59 euros. These include the use of local public transport in the VRS area. For those who like something a little more exclusive, there are VIP tickets for 318 euros, which offer numerous extras such as access to VIP decks, buffet and drinks.
To get there, the organizers have set up a nationwide bus shuttle service in cooperation with Partybusse.de, which starts from over 50 departure points in Germany. This ensures an uncomplicated journey to the festival.
