The anticipation for Germany's largest popular basketball event, the “NRW 3×3 Tour”, is particularly great this year. From theJune 14, 2025The Cologne Media Park will become a venue for top sporting performances when the event is already underway31st timetakes place. In the next three weeks the tour will be complete16 cities in North Rhine-WestphaliaVisit and invite all basketball enthusiasts to take part.
Teams with each3 players and 1 substituteare warmly invited to show their fighting spirit. The entry fee for participation is20 euros, while for FIBA tournaments a fee of30 eurosbecomes due. During the event, every participant will receive an official tour shirt and the best teams can look forward to attractive prizes, including high-quality sports equipment.

The NRW 3×3 Tour not only enables experienced players to show off their skills in competition, but also offers recreational athletes the opportunity to compete in exciting matchups. A special highlight: schools that have at leastfive teamsregister, getten basketballsas a thank you. A great opportunity to develop the next generation of basketball!
A look back at the30th NRW 3×3 Tourin 2024 shows how successful this event is. With133 teams, a professional structure20 courtsand the use of rain radar to schedule outdoor games, the tour attracted an audience of numerous basketball fans. The first four rounds took place exclusively indoors, but after a short time the outdoor fields were dried and could be used.
High-profile opening in Recklinghausen
The final of the last tour took place onJune 30, 2024took place in Recklinghausen and was opened by guests of honor who support the sport. These included high-ranking representatives such as Wiebke Kröger from the WBV and Thomas Weckelmann from the Ministry for Children, Youth, Family and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. A big thank you went to the NRW-Tour team and to about40 volunteerswho helped organize and run the event.
