On the afternoon of June 18, 2025, a serious accident occurred in Bickendorf at the Rochusplatz stop. A 12-year-old fell several meters onto the Cologne Transport Company (KVB) tracks and suffered serious injuries. The police estimate the fall was around seven meters when the boy rode his bike down the stairs to the mezzanine level and lost control of his bike.
