The anticipation for the Christmas season in Cologne is increasing! On July 10, 2025, the 20th edition of Tommy Engel's popular dinner show “WeihnachtsEngel” was announced at the Volksbühne on Rudolfplatz. With a colorful star line-up including Wolfgang Niedecken, Erry Stoklosa, Linus and Jürgen Fritz, the press conference was a special event. The show not only celebrates its anniversary, but also its own history, which spans two decades of Cologne music.
The “Christmas Angel” show will take place this year from November 28th to December 20th at Motorworld Cologne-Ossendorf. Up to ten performances are planned and the anticipation is great! Visitors can look forward to live performances by Erry Stoklosa and Linus every evening, while Wolfgang Niedecken and Carolin Kebekus will appear in special digital productions. This innovative concept leaves room for virtual duets between Engel, Kebekus and Niedecken and thus creates closeness despite distance, which is of particular importance for the show.
Ticket prices and program
For all those who want to be part of this special event: Tickets cost 111 euros and include a festive three-course menu. Evening performances will run from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., while matinee performances are scheduled from 2 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets are already available in advance and should be gone quickly - the Christmas angel has already conquered many hearts in recent years.
Fortunately, the mixture of illusion and live concert will immerse the audience in a magical atmosphere. The extent to which the show also addresses Cologne's past music history remains exciting. Memories of friendship and stage magic will certainly take center stage.
