Things are getting exciting in the media landscape: Jan Böhmermann is moving from Cologne-Ehrenfeld to Berlin with his famous “ZDF Magazin Royale”. From the end of September to mid-October, the satirist will make the capital unsafe. In doing so, he not only stages his show in a new setting, but also invites people to an international satirical-comic conference. “The possibility of unreason,” is the motto of the exhibition, and is intended to explore the limits of what can be said and explored. The exhibition takes place in House of World Cultures (HKW) near the Chancellery and Reichstag and runs from September 27th to October 19th, 2025. In addition to the exhibition, concerts, performances and discussions are also planned that deal with current global challenges. The opening day promises to be particularly festive: on September 27th, a concert with Blond and other special guests will set the right tone. Ticket prices for the event are moderate, with 35 euros (reduced 29 euros) for the opening ceremony and 15 euros (reduced 12 euros) for the exhibition.

“The Possibility of Unreason” aims to create new spaces for discussion. Böhmermann will address topics that have both political and social relevance today.
