Last weekend the eagerly awaited finale of the 20th season of “Germany’s Next Top Model” took place in Cologne. One candidate who has been particularly in the spotlight this season is Kevin. The young man has experienced some ups and downs in recent weeks, which he shared in an interview with Joyn openly discussed. Despite emotional challenges, he retains his ambition to not only enter the modeling world, but also to assert himself in it.

Kevin has worked for various well-known designers during his time on the show. One of his highlights includes the walk for Kidsuper in Paris, which he particularly remembers. Appearances at Berlin Fashion Week for designers such as Kilian Kerner and Marcel Ostertag also influenced him. However, during a difficult decision-making process, Kevin had to swallow a bitter pill: after criticism from the jury, including designer Heidi Klum and Rankin, he didn't get a photo, which meant he was eliminated. Despite this disappointment, the young model aspirant is composed and ready to move forward.

The challenges in competition

The season not only brought glamorous moments, but also conflicts in the penthouse. Kevin faced confrontation when he called Aaliyah “sloppy” for her messiness. In addition, there was tension with Zoe, which further strained the nerves of everyone involved. Despite these difficulties, Kevin remains optimistic. “I live for modeling,” are his words, and he wants to prove it to everyone after he leaves.
