Cologne KDK Open Air 2025: German rap festival with stars and newcomers!

German rap has long since become a fixture in Cologne and will be brought back onto the big stage from June 20, 2025 with the KDK Open Air near Cologne's Südbücke. Cologne rap duo Lugatti & 9ine, the organizers of the festival, have retained a good knack for a fat line-up that presents both old hands and newcomers. After two successful years, this year the event will take place over two days for the first time – true to the motto: “It’s perfect!”

A total of 9 exciting acts will be on stage. The festival starts on Friday with BHZ$ONO$, CLIQ, Verified and RUSKI53, among others. On Saturday Lugatti & 9ine themselves will be at the start, complemented by Filow, Apsilon, Tom Hengst and OG LU. Entry to the festival opens at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, and a detailed timetable will be published the week of the festival so that no one misses anything.

Tickets and aftershow party

Tickets for the KDK Open Air are available both for individual days and as a combination ticket. Day tickets cost €45, while the combined ticket for both days costs €80, plus advance booking fees. Tickets are sold via the festival partner platform hushhush. If you haven't had enough after the live acts, you can look forward to the after-show party at Schrotty in Cologne-Bickendorf. The party continues here with hip-hop, trap, trance and techno on two floors. Tickets for the aftershow cost €15 for festival guests, while others can get in for €20 in advance and €25 at the box office.

The KDK Open Air not only offers a varied music program, but also a unique atmosphere. “There will be powerful bass and an authentic celebration of the German rap scene,” the organizers are sure. For the first time, the event also has the character of a large indoor festival, with seats for thousands of hip-hop fans and many surprises that will make the festival unforgettable.

The line-up promises a mix of familiar faces and up-and-coming talent. The atmosphere is also ensured between performances: renowned DJs bring their beats to the crowd and ensure unforgettable moments, while visitors can enjoy themselves well catered for. The KDK Open Air is therefore not just an event, but a world of experience for all German rap fans.

Be there when the best artists and talents from the scene take to the stage in Cologne! With a fantastic program and a full load of good spirits, the KDK Open Air 2025 will certainly be the highlight of the summer. Click here for the tickets: hushhush, Cologne City Gazette and Reservix.
