From today, June 16, 2025, the city of Cologne is opening the gate to citizen participation in the development planning of the western city. In this special district, which lies between Ehrenfeld and Lindenthal, citizens can submit their ideas and wishes until July 6th. The online platform “Opinion for Cologne” serves as a central place to give feedback and share ideas. The topics range from mobility in the western part of the city to popular places to stay and designing a climate-friendly district.
