Filming for The Country Doctor’s Practice”: Bad Tölz has film fever!

A new chapter in the success story of the TV series “The Country Doctor’s Practice” is currently being written in Bad Tölz and the surrounding area. Director Hannes Spring and actors Oliver Franck and Christian Hoening do everything they can to present the new episodes in the best light. A dedicated film team of 30 people is busy capturing the picturesque backdrop on the Isar promenade. These recordings are part of the fourth season, which will be broadcast on Sat.1 next year with a total of 240 episodes. The plot of the series revolves around Dr. Sarah König, played by Caroline Frier, who wants to start a new life after moving to the country. The team rehearsed in bright sunshine before the first song was heard. The preparation is meticulous in detail: each text sample is followed by a technical check of the lighting and camera positions. The special thing about filming in Bavaria is that three other teams are working at the same time in studios near Cologne.
