The planned closures affect the RB25 (Cologne - Lüdenscheid) from March 27th to August 7th, 2026 and the RB52 (Dortmund - Lüdenscheid) from August 28th to November 20th, 2026. The reason for these measures is structural work, including the replacement of a bridge on the RB52. Deutsche Bahn has committed to keeping rail replacement traffic as low as possible and maintaining train traffic during the closures in order not to have too much of an impact on connections.
