Sibylle Vogt is starting a new career step: moving to Mülheim!
Today is an exciting day for the Cologne racing scene, as a significant change is imminent. The successful racing rider Sibylle Vogt has decided to break up her tent in Cologne and take on a new challenge in Mülheim an der Ruhr from February 1, 2026. There she will work as the first stable jockey in the Diana stable under the renowned trainer Marcel Weiß. This will be the next chapter in her career that fans are eagerly awaiting.
Vogt, a native of Switzerland, established himself as the second stable jockey at Stall Asterblüte in Cologne and achieved a remarkable 43 victories, including five group victories and one listed victory. Her successes include winning studs with Geography and Arcandi in the Kalkmann Spring Mile and with Santagada in the Future Race. The trainer of Stall Asterblüte, Peter Schiergen, was grateful for the successful cooperation over three years and wishes Vogt all the best for her new job.
A difficult step and new opportunities
The move from Cologne to Mülheim was not without consideration. According to Vogt, the decision was anything but easy, as the collaboration with Schiergen and the entire team had a lasting impact on it. Nevertheless, she sees the change as a great opportunity and a fresh level of motivation for her career, which she now wants to use. It will be exciting to see how this reorientation will affect her performance in the racing saddle.
Fall 2023 was a challenging year for Vogt when she had to take a six-month break due to a doping ban. She recently left this time behind her and made her comeback in the racing saddle. The darkness of the doping problem in sport shows how important it is to concentrate on your own performance and potential instead of resorting to illegal means. Doping tests and controls are commonplace in sport in order to maintain fairness and integrity. In 2024, over 12,100 doping tests were carried out in Germany to minimize the influence of performance-enhancing substances.
A look into the future
With her experience and the drive she feels after her comeback, Sibylle Vogt could be ready to celebrate new successes and prove herself twice as much in the Diana stable. The entire racing community will be looking forward to their next steps and challenges. One can only hope that the new surroundings in Mülheim will provide her with the inspiration she needs to further advance her career and delight the audience with captivating races.
So we can't wait to see how Sibylle Vogt's career will develop in Mülheim and what exciting stories racing has in store for the future.
