Autumn markets and pumpkin festivals: NRW celebrates the bright colors of the year

In North Rhine-Westphalia, autumn hits with full vigor and brings with it a variety of festive markets and cheerful pumpkin festivals. Anyone who would like to experience regional flair and culinary delights in the coming weeks will be spoiled for choice, as the offers, which extend into November, are as diverse as the colors of the leaves that are currently falling. The restaurant's specialties include delicious pumpkin dishes, including pumpkin soup and pumpkin spice waffles. Admission is free and the farm is open daily until November 2nd.

In Hagen you can experience pumpkin carving and much more in the open-air museum on September 27th and 28th. Another highlight are the autumn markets in Hattingen and Mechernich, which take place in October and also present a wide range of activities and products that promise fun for the whole family.

In addition to the events already mentioned, numerous other markets attract people to the region. The apple-friendly festival at the Kevelaer Naturhof and the Gartenlust autumn markets in Dortmund on October 12th make the choice difficult.
