The student, who was on her way to physical education class with a group of fourth-graders, was hit by a BMW driver at the intersection of Theresienhöhe and Frechener Straße, who reportedly may have driven through a red light. A 25-year-old school companion was seriously injured in the same accident and is in critical condition.
