On Sunday, July 6, 2025, Cologne city center will once again be the scene of the largest CSD demo in Germany and Europe. Under the motto "For Queer Rights - Many. Together. Strong!" Around 60,000 people gather to send a strong signal for visibility, human rights and acceptance of the queer community. An important concern, especially given the increasing anti-queer sentiment in Germany, which worries many. It starts at 11:30 a.m. on the Deutzer Bridge, which is traditionally decorated with colorful balloons. The demo parade takes its route through various stations and moves through Schildergasse, Neumarkt, past Rudolfplatz and the Ringen to Comedy Street at Cologne Cathedral. In order to enable visitors to have smooth access to the demo, some road closures will be in effect from the day before. It is recommended to use public transport from the Cologne transport company, bicycle or walk to the city center.
