He threatened the 65-year-old employee while holding a knife and demanded money and cigarettes. The loot included cash and four packs of cigarettes, which together were worth several hundred euros. After the crime, the perpetrator fled on foot towards the KVB bus stop Schwabenstrasse.

A second robbery in the city center

Just a few hours later, on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday, at around 3:20 a.m., a second robbery-like incident occurred. A masked man appeared at a gas station on Holzmarkt in downtown Cologne and threatened the 36-year-old employee with a knife.
