SOKO Cologne invites you: table read and question and answer session with the stars!
Whether criminal cases or exciting snapshots from the lives of the investigators, the popular series SOKO Cologne has been delighting ZDF viewers for more than two decades. The 24th season has been on the air since the end of September and is broadcast every Tuesday at 6 p.m. The latest episodes not only impress with their gripping stories, but also with their high ratings: the last episode was seen by an impressive 3.33 million people, which corresponds to a total market share of 20.2 percent.
The crime series, which first flickered across the screens on October 22, 2003, depicts the life of a five-person group of investigators in and around Cologne. They investigate capital criminals and take the audience to dazzling places, including red light districts and city parks. Fictional settings, such as crime games in old castles, provide additional variety. Particularly noteworthy is the private life of the investigators, which often plays a central role in the plots.
Table read in Café Goldmund
A very special event is coming up on November 20th: a table read in the literary café “Café Goldmund” at Glasstraße 2, 50823 Cologne. Here fans have the opportunity to look over the shoulders of part of the cast. The event, which is open to the public and organized according to the “first come, first serve” principle, begins at 7:30 p.m. Admission is from 6 p.m. In this table read, which is a kind of pre-production reading, dialogues are read aloud and then those present can ask the actors questions.
The ensemble taking part in the tableread includes Kerstin Landsmann (Vanessa Haas), Pierre Besson (Matti Wagner), Aylin Ravanyar (Amira Mahdi) and Yulia Yáñez Schmidt (Dr. Pilar Westphal). The interaction between actors and fans provides exceptional insight into the series' production and characters.
SOKO and their fans
The loyalty and enthusiasm of the fans of SOKO Cologne cannot be overlooked. The current season not only offers exciting criminal cases, but also a connection with the viewers, who are getting more and more opportunities to look behind the scenes. The new episodes are also available seven days before the TV broadcast on ZDF.de, which further increases the anticipation of the broadcast.
With this strong base, a loyal fan base and the talent of the ensemble, the future of SOKO Cologne secured. One more reason to look forward to the upcoming episodes and events!
