The rumor mill is churning in Cologne as the city will be confronted with exciting but also worrying events in the next few days. The focus is particularly on the trial surrounding the hostage-taking of a couple from Bochum and the dramatic SEK storming of a villa in Rodenkirchen. Today, June 2, 2025, another key witness is expected to testify during the proceedings. Only recently two hostages in Cologne were freed by the SEK. This dramatic turn began on Friday morning in Bochum and revealed the dark machinations in the area of organized drug crime. Fortunately, the liberation took place without any danger to anyone involved, but the hostages were injured and required medical treatment.
